Age 5: adopted by a temple in her native desert region soon after birth to be a miracle healer.

Age 13: Leaves the church to study necromancy.

Age 17: She had to work hard, learn fast, kill, to become respected as a young woman necromancer but she did it. Her birth name is forgotten. She is known as Penumbra. She feels more at home with the dead than the living, but she still acts as a healer to those she deems worthy.

Age 25: Nearly completely withdrawn from the living, she lives in an abandoned wizard's tower. Some speculate that she is among the walking dead. Some believe that she has become a spirit of healing. Few have ventured to find out.
